Swan Haven Inn
A blend of old country charm and modern day conveniences, The Swan Haven Inn was originally known as the Gustav Muhm House and was built in 1860. The first owner, Gustav, was one of the original grape growers and wine producers in Augusta.
The large expansive home sits on two park like acres, with wonderful views of vineyards, woods and ridges. The 36' deck is the perfect spot to sit back relax, unwind or watch the many varieties of birds at the bird feeders, or watch a spectacular sunset over the vineyard from the front porch.
Enjoy the best of both worlds, peace and quite and yet just an easy walk or a one minute drive to specialty shops, restaurants, wineries, microbrewery and antique shops. We are only minutes from the Katy trail and a short drive to historic Daniel Boone home, public golf course and four more wineries.
Each comfortable, tastefully decorated guest suite has it's own large luxurious bath, straight off the bedroom. The common areas are large and comfortable and beckon you to sit and relax, while the guest suites invite warmth and intimacy.
A mixture of elegance, romance and comfort will envelope you when you enter the Swan Haven Inn, it is the perfect setting for a special occasion, honeymoon, anniversary or just to unwind, relax and be pampered.
Your hosts, Jacqui and Gene, are eager to share their dining recommendations, bike trail information & winery information, and their knowledge of the local history.
